Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index records a surge of 1.23%

Nifty Realty index ended up 1.23% at 660.6 today. The index has added 9.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sobha Ltd jumped 5.07%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd rose 4.29% and Oberoi Realty Ltd added 2.83%. The Nifty Realty index has increased 50.00% over last one year compared to the 6.82% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty FMCG index has slid 0.90% and Nifty Auto index increased 0.83% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has declined 0.25% to close at 19395.3 while the SENSEX has declined 0.22% to close at 64832.2 today.
