Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 2.52%

Nifty Realty index ended up 2.52% at 627.8 today. The index has gained 9.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Macrotech Developers Ltd rose 5.76%, Phoenix Mills Ltd added 4.37% and Oberoi Realty Ltd gained 3.93%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 43.00% over last one year compared to the 5.81% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSE index gained 1.89% and Nifty PSU Bank index gained 1.50% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.76% to close at 19133.25 while the SENSEX increased 0.77% to close at 64080.9 today.
