Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 2.14%

Nifty Realty index ended up 2.14% at 595.45 today. The index has gained 3.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Swan Energy Ltd rose 5.72%, DLF Ltd added 3.41% and Macrotech Developers Ltd gained 3.09%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 37.00% over last one year compared to the 7.61% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Energy index gained 1.20% and Nifty Infrastructure index gained 1.09% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.49% to close at 19140.9 while the SENSEX increased 0.52% to close at 64112.65 today.
