Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 1.55%

Nifty Realty index ended up 1.55% at 612.35 today. The index has gained 6.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Phoenix Mills Ltd rose 4.38%, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd fell 2.54% and Oberoi Realty Ltd jumped 2.36%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 38.00% over last one year compared to the 4.65% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index has dropped 1.43% and Nifty Media index increased 0.88% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has declined 0.47% to close at 18989.15 while the SENSEX has slid 0.44% to close at 63591.33 today.
