Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 1.27%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.27% at 603 today. The index has gained 5.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Macrotech Developers Ltd added 3.62%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd jumped 1.92% and Oberoi Realty Ltd rose 1.82%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 37.00% over last one year compared to the 5.93% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index gained 0.91% and Nifty Auto index has dropped 0.67% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.32% to close at 19079.6 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.37% to close at 63874.93 today.
