Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index falls 1.75%

Nifty Realty index ended down 1.75% at 731.95 today. The index has gained 10.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd shed 6.39%, Sobha Ltd slipped 4.89% and Macrotech Developers Ltd dropped 3.27%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 63.00% over last one year compared to the 13.02% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Energy index has dropped 1.31% and Nifty MNC index is down 0.78% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.43% to close at 20906.4 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.54% to close at 69551.03 today.
