Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index falls 1.66%

Nifty Realty index closed down 1.66% at 868.6 today. The index has gained 13.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Macrotech Developers Ltd dropped 2.86%, Sobha Ltd gained 2.79% and Oberoi Realty Ltd fell 2.72%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 104.00% over last one year compared to the 23.12% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index has dropped 1.28% and Nifty Pharma index is down 1.14% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.29% to close at 22032.3 while the SENSEX has slid 0.27% to close at 73128.77 today.
