Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index rises 2.88%

Nifty PSE index closed up 2.88% at 8311.7 today. The index is up 12.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, REC Ltd gained 6.43%, Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd jumped 6.10% and Power Finance Corporation Ltd rose 5.00%. The Nifty PSE index is up 85.00% over last one year compared to the 19.41% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Infrastructure index added 1.61% and Nifty Consumption index increased 1.46% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 witnessed a rise of 0.75% to close at 21622.4 while the SENSEX added 0.70% to close at 71683.23 today.
