QUICK WRAP: NIFTY PHARMA INDEX GAINS 1.56%

Nifty Pharma index ended up 1.56% at 16238.9 today. The index has gained 11.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Alkem Laboratories Ltd rose 3.42%, Granules India Ltd added 3.20% and Lupin Ltd jumped 2.51%. The Nifty Pharma index has soared 24.00% over last one year compared to the 7.33% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Realty index gained 1.44% and Nifty PSE index gained 1.25% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.18% to close at 20133.15 while the SENSEX increased 0.13% to close at 66988.44 today.
