Quick Wrap: Nifty Energy Index gains 1.23%

Nifty Energy index ended up 1.23% at 32188.8 today. The index has gained 17.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Tata Power Company Ltd rose 10.76%, Adani Green Energy Ltd gained 3.88% and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd added 2.95%. The Nifty Energy index has soared 20.00% over last one year compared to the 12.61% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index gained 0.92% and Nifty PSE index added 0.90% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.17% to close at 20901.15 while the SENSEX has slid 0.19% to close at 69521.69 today.
