US Dollar Index Speculative Longs Fall To Three Week Low

The large currency market speculators reduced their long positions in the US dollar futures, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of US dollar index futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net position of 2823 contracts in the data reported through August 29, 2023. This was a weekly fall of 1766 net contracts and took net longs to three week low.
