Speculative Net Longs In Euro Slide To Almost A Year Low

Large currency speculators continued to cut their net long positions in the Euro futures markets last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Euro futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net long position of 78,943 contracts in the data reported through October 03, 2023. This was a weekly fall of 19,456 net contracts and the net longs declined to the lowest level in almost a year.
