Speculative Net Longs In Euro Hang Around 11-Month Low

Large currency speculators continued to cut their net long positions in the Euro futures markets last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Euro futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net long position of 98399 contracts in the data reported through September 26, 2023. This was a weekly fall of 3582 net contracts and the net longs continue to linger around 11 month lows.
