The JPYINR futures on the NSE are witnessing strong buying today taking the July contract to its best level in a week on Wednesday. The counter hit a high of 57.30, up 0.35% on the day amid weakness in rupee against a strong dollar overseas. US dollar is attempting to stay strong amid apprehensions ahead of Federal Reserve`s minutes that could offer clues to the outlook for interest rates. Meanwhile, USDJPY are quoting just below the 145 level, seen last November that triggered an intervention by the Japanese authorities, which is keeping yen supported. The pair is currently down 0.1% at 144.34.
