DOLLAR INDEX SPECULATORS REDUCE NET LONG POSITION

The large currency market speculators reduced their net long positions in the US dollar futures, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of US dollar index futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net position of 19087contracts in the data reported through November 28, 2023, its lowest level in a month. This was a weekly fall of 1610 net contracts.
