Dollar Index Speculators Decrease Net Long Position

The large currency market speculators decreased their net long positions in the US dollar futures, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of US dollar index futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net position of 17601 contracts in the data reported through December 12,2023. This was a weekly decline of 2343 net contracts.
