DOLLAR INDEX SPECULATIVE LONG POSITIONS UP MARGINALLY

The large currency market speculators marginally increased its long positions in the US dollar futures, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of US dollar index futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net position of 19671 contracts in the data reported through October 24, 2023. This was a marginal weekly increase of 504 net contracts. The net longs stayed near its highest level so far this year.
