QUICK WRAP: NIFTY REALTY INDEX RECORDS A SURGE OF 4.29%

Nifty Realty index ended up 4.29% at 421.35 today. The index has added 6.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Godrej Properties Ltd rose 9.15%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd gained 6.27% and DLF Ltd added 5.90%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 11.00% over last one year compared to the 0.90% fall in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSE index increased 1.60% and Nifty Auto index gained 1.18% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.14% to close at 17624.05 while the SENSEX increased 0.02% to close at 59846.51 today.
