Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index records a surge of 1.36%

Nifty Realty index ended up 1.36% at 435.95 today. The index has added 16.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd rose 4.35%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd added 2.45% and Oberoi Realty Ltd jumped 1.62%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 2.00% over last one year compared to the 3.56% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty MNC index increased 0.80% and Nifty FMCG index increased 0.71% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.25% to close at 17813.6 while the SENSEX increased 0.28% to close at 60300.58 today.
