Fund Objective

The investment objective of the Scheme is to achieve long term capital appreciation by predominantly investing in equity and equity related instruments of companies following consumption theme. There is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved.

Notes

The Scheme aims to provide long-term capital appreciation from an actively managed portfolio of equity & equity related securities of companies engaged in consumption and consumption related sector or allied sectors. The fund aims to allocate 80-100% of its total assets to equity and equity-related securities of companies poised to benefit from domestic consumption-driven demand. The fund manager retains the discretion to invest up to 20% of the scheme`s assets outside the primary consumption theme. Further, the Scheme shall follow an active investment strategy. India is witnessing a significant rise in consumption, propelled by several factors such as the shift from the unorganized to the organized sector, increased demand for premium categories, and the narrowing spending gap between rural and urban areas. Over the past decade, consumer behaviour in India has evolved considerably, primarily driven by rising income levels, higher aspirations, social status, personal grooming, leisure and experience. This transformation is evident in both urban and rural markets, where higher per capita income and evolving lifestyles are reshaping consumption patterns. As aspirations rise, new consumption categories are emerging, reflecting the evolving preferences of a dynamic population. The scheme aims to capitalize on these shifts in spending patterns.
